4 years of marine biology notes, condensed, illustrated, and designed to help you actually remember what you study.
These posters are the notes that helped me achieve a 1st in my Master’s degree and land my first job in marine biology.
Each poster is colour-coded, hand-drawn, and tailored for visual learners who want to turn complex topics into something clear, memorable, and fun!
Marine invertebrates explores the diverse and fascinating animals that live in the ocean without a backbone — from sponges and corals to molluscs, crustaceans, echinoderms, and more. This topic looks at their anatomy, life cycles, feeding strategies, and ecological roles across different marine habitats. It also examines how these organisms adapt to environmental challenges, contribute to ecosystem structure, and play key roles in nutrient cycling, habitat formation, and overall ocean health.

Why Us?
My Story
During my four years studying Marine Biology at Southampton (specialising in orca foraging ecology, because who doesn't love orcas?),
I hit a wall with how inaccessible marine science felt.
Dense textbooks and boring PowerPoints made studying a slog, so I started creating my own colourful, visual notes, and suddenly everything clicked.
Learning became fun, my grades improved, and I actually looked forward to revision!
These posters came from that lightbulb moment. They're my handwritten university notes paired with illustrations that make complex marine science feel beautiful and digestible.
Whether you're a student hunting for better study resources or just ocean curious and don't know where to start, I hope these posters make marine science feel accessible and exciting for everyone.
The ocean's incredible. Let's make learning about it incredible too.
